Mirela Senica, President of HUND and President of The Europe Branch at IFPSM emphasized the importance of this step for the profession: “Today marks an important milestone for the procurement profession in Croatia and beyond. Through the PSM Excellence Program, HUND – together with our partners IPG and Wogas – is setting new, practical and strategic standards in procurement education, supporting digitalization, sustainability, growth and resilient supply chains. This program will help our members and the wider procurement community grow their skills through a proven education portfolio. The future of procurement starts here, concluded Senica. “
The program aims to strengthen modern competencies in procurement and supply management, helping professionals play a key role in building resilient, sustainable, and value-driven businesses. It responds to growing global challenges, including digital transformation, sustainability, and the use of artificial intelligence in procurement.
Developed by IPG PARTNERS GROUP (IPG), a leading Swiss thought and do factory, and Wogas, consultancy specializing in intelligent procurement, the program combines international expertise with local insights.
“Procurement is facing a turning point. Anyone who wants to actively shape the future needs excellent skills and continuous training. With the PSM Excellence Program, we are creating a learning platform that equips HUND members and business partners with the critical skills they need, connects them, and prepares them for the challenges of tomorrow” said Carsten Vollrath, Managing Partner of IPG.
Helena Popović Petrušić, business consultant and head lecturer at Wogas, added: “More than ever, companies are building their success on the wings of procurement. This program offers the tools, knowledge, and practical experience to transform procurement into a strategic business partner.”
With 18 interconnected and carefully designed topics, the program brings together two core dimensions of modern procurement: Strategic Fundations and Digital and Sustainable Transformation. It is tailored to the needs of professionals in Croatia and beyond, based on recent industry surveys.
