The client wanted to define how the global supply-chain organization should be set up to support the new operating model: clearer governance, harmonized roles, aligned processes, consistent interfaces and a practical roadmap for mobilizing the organization.

Frame

Define the TOM framework, chapter structure, standards, scope and required level of detail for a common operating model.

Map

Collect existing SC concept elements, assess maturity and perform gap analysis across relevant functions.

Design

Develop operating model V1.0 for functions, including building blocks, key elements, roles, KPIs and governance.

Align

Harmonize interfaces between SC functions and with business partners such as Sales, BA, R&D, QRC, IT, Finance and HR.

Mobilize

Translate the operating model into implementation roadmap, PMO logic, communication, lighthouse projects and rollout steps.

Impact & Results

The work created a structured operating model that made the future supply-chain organization tangible: its ambition, governance, functional building blocks, interfaces, roles, performance logic and implementation path. It translated fragmented documentation into a consistent, communicable model for global mobilization.
